Shopify Tag Filters

With this integration, you will be able to filter products on your Shoppy app using the tags set on Shopify. Upon entering a collection's page, Shoppy will retrieve all of the product tags from that collection and show them to the user so they can filter products.

To enable this integration, head to your Shoppy Dashboard, go to "Integrations", and click on "Enable" next to "Shopify Tag Filters". From here, you are able to insert a separator or a hidden tag or click the check box to hide filters with a specific value.

Separators

Separators are used to group filters together. For example, if tags are size_s and size_m, the separator must be set with an underscore _ so allow the user to see the size filters with s and m options. You can choose to insert a separator other than an underscore, but it is important to pick one and remain consistent.

Hidden Tags

With Hidden Tags, you can hide filters associated with a certain tag. For example, you can hide the filter for brands, colors, or sizes. For example if you have tags for size_s and size_m, but want to hide the size filter, you can simply enter size into the text box to hide the ability to filter by size.

Hide filters with one value

In the case that a filter has only one option you can choose to hide it. For example, if you have the color filter with only the red option available, you can choose to hide the entire filter in these cases by clicking the check box.

The Shopify Tag Filters integration is incompatible when one of the following integrations are enabled:

  • Algolia
